Sunny day in February

Emma and I took advantage of the unusually sunny and warm day yesterday. It was 70 degrees! We took a stroller ride and because it was so bright outside Emma needed to wear her sunglasses. Here are some pictures of Emma sporting the shades.


She was still wearing her shades at the end of our walk. I think she knows she looks cool!

Valentine's Day

Emma's first Valentine's Day.
Aunt's Dana and Alicia came for a visit to give Terence and I an opportunity to go out for a valentine's dinner. Thanks girls!
In addition to having her first holiday, Emma had her first hospital emergency room visit. She has conjunctiveitis in her right eye. We don't know how she got it but she was given antibiotics to help clear it up.
Despite the eye infection, we had fun with Emma this weekend. Here is Emma snacking on a cookie Aunt's Alicia and Dana made for her.

1 month

Emma hit the 1 month mark this week and what adventures she had.
First we took a train from Austin to Marshall, Texas, to visit Grandma and Grandpa.

She was good the whole 10 hour trip to Marshall then again back to Austin. While in Marshall Aunt Dana and Alicia, Uncle Paul, and our friend Christi visited and held and loved on Emma.














On Sunday, Emma was blessed and she wore the dress Grandma made for her.
















When we arrived back in Austin, Daddy was oh so happy to see his little girl. He said that she had grown bigger in the 5 days we had been gone. I think it is just his imagination.
