Birthday/Anniversary Weekend

T and I decided to go to the Texas coast to celebrate not only our 2nd anniversary and my 38th birthday but also Banjo's adoption day. We rented a pet friendly cottage in Rockport and were able to take the doggies out on the beach in Port Aransas. T spent some down town fishing from one of the many piers in Rockport, but to no avail. Here are some memorable picture from the trip.

Labor Day Weekend

Terence, the doggies and I drove to Marshall for the 3-day Labor Day weekend. Little did we know starting off from Kyle that we would not only have an unexpected 4 day weekend, but that we would be out $410. Costly little family gathering. As much as it smarts taking such an unplanned financial hit, we did do some fun activities and enjoyed seeing the doggies have such fun running around my parents big backyard.
Dana, Paul, Terence and I shot my dad's .22 as well as Dana's Springfield XDM. I knew we were in the "country" when no one commented about the 6 months pregnant lady packing heat. Perhaps it is a common occurance around them parts.
