Happy Easter

The Hall's had a wonderful Easter Holiday. Grandma O'Neil and Aunt Alicia came down to Kyle to visit. Of course they brought goodies to eat and presents to unwrap. After a surprise knock at the door that sent Emma into shy mode -- Emma does not like being surprised and when she is, she gets real quiet and shy -- the visitors brought out gifts that were played with until the pizza came. Up early on Saturday for the Plum Creek HOA annual Easter Egg hunt. There are about 1,000 colorful plastic eggs in each roped off age category. This year Cam and Emma were both in the 0-3. There are 2 golden eggs in each age group and if you find one, you get a prize. Thanks to the excellent scouting ability of Grandma, Emma was able to capture one of the golden eggs and claim her prize -- a 3 foot long stuffed lamb animal that has been named Binky. After the egg hunt, we came home and opened the eggs to see what was inside. There was a collection of sticker, tattoo's and some candy. After nap it was time to dye eggs. Emma had fun using the colors and the glitter that came in the PAAS package. There was a mess after it was all said and done, but the eggs were very colorful. Sunday we were up for church, dressed in our Easter clothes. Grandma and Alicia stayed home while we went to church to act as the Easter Bunny. When we got home there were 2 huge baskets filled with all variety of chocolate treats. Emma got a pink and purple body board, an Ariel swimsuit, a pink and purple soccer ball, and a princess puzzle. Cam got a pair of Sperry shoes, water floaties, a stuffed monster truck, a wooden puzzle, and an assortment of balls and cars. It was so fun to see the excitement on their faces.
Easter 2013 was excellent.
