Emma first haircut

On her third birthday, I decided it was time for Emma to get her hair cut. Terence had often joked that Emma was sporting a mullet with all the different lengths of hair. Plus the fact that I never really have mastered the art of cutting her bangs. So, we went to the local hair shop and Emma underwent a cut and style.

Flower Girl

In October one of my great friends got married. She had asked if Emma would be her flower girl. Emma was thrilled to go to the fancy party and she carried out her duties expertly.

Happy BIrthday Cam

It has been a few months since I have posted any pictures of the family, so there is quite a bit to catch up on. However, I will have to play catchup in a later blog for this blog is dedicated to Cam's First Birthday. YES, Cam turned 1 on December 19th. We waited to celebrate until we were with the family and once again Aunt Alicia came through by baking a delicious and colorful cake.

As you can see Cam was a bit more reserved about his cake than Emma was. Remember, she dove in face first...

Trick or Treat 2012

Miss Viola Swamp, the meanest substitute teacher in the whole world. She is a real witch.

The summer went by too fast. We were busy with family visits and trips. Busy going to the neighborhood pool on the weekends. Busy learning to crawl and go potty on the toilet like a big girl. (Still a work in progress). Here are some summer pictures...

Galveston trip

Emma and I enjoyed a long weekend the last week of August. Emma's daycare closed the 30th and 31st and since the following Monday was the Labor Day Holiday, I decided to take Emma for a girls weekend. We drove down to Galveston to visit our friends Megan and Jason and their doggie Emma. The first night we arrived we took Emma to the beach (which Emma called the ocean). She had a wonderful time jumping over the waves with me. The next day we took went to Moody Gardens, the Aquariam. We had fun watching the seals and the penguins, but what Emma really wanted to do was to go back to the ocean. SO, after a quick bite to eat we made another stop at the ocean. Again, Emma had such fun wiggeling her toes in the sand, jumping the waves and looking out for dolphins which she was convinced were going to come and swim with her. I thanked Megan and Jason and doggie Emma for being such great hosts and Emma and I set back for home. I can not wait to take her back

Cam turned 6 months on June 19th! I wanted to capture my handsome young boy growing up and went to get his picture taken. Soon after I booked his sitting, I realized it would be a good idea to get some pictures of my beautiful big girl and her baby brother together. Here are the results....
